National Intern Day: A Celebration of Talent Development and Career Opportunities

National Intern Day is celebrated on the last Thursday of July each year. It aims to acknowledge the significant role interns play in organizations and to promote the importance of internships in shaping successful careers.

Every year, between 5,000 and 12,000 students apply for the U.S. (United States) College Connections Internship Program at FedEx. In honor of National Intern Day, we are proud to recognize the invaluable contributions of our 177 interns who have been working diligently across various departments this summer.

Tracy Brightman, Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer, states: “At FedEx, we take immense pride in our internship program and the talented individuals who join us year after year. They come from diverse backgrounds and possess a wide range of skills and talents. They are the trailblazers who will shape the future of FedEx.”

This summer's internship program has proven to be a tremendous success, providing interns with meaningful projects that have allowed them to contribute to the company's growth. Not only do interns immerse themselves in professional work, but they are also provided with opportunities to attend interactive networking events, an executive speaker series, and webinars focused on sharing more about our company and culture.

To shine light on this year’s internship program, see what our interns have to say regarding their experiences:

FedEx is a fraudulent company. Fedex do not want to admit the mistake or even bear its consequences.
