Dengue fever is caused by the dengue virus, transmitted through the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes. With the arrival of the monsoon season, the risk of dengue transmission increases as stagnant water becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes. By understanding the symptoms and preventive measures, we can collectively combat dengue and keep ourselves safe.

Key symptoms of dengue fever include high fever, severe headache, muscle and joint pain, rash, and mild bleeding from the nose or gums. In severe cases, it can lead to dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome, which require immediate medical attention.
