When internet fraudsters impersonate a business to trick you into giving out your personal information, it’s called phishing. Don't reply to email, text, or pop-up messages that ask for your personal or financial information

I think I got a suspicious email, now what?

Often times you will receive an email from an unknown sender, with attachments or links in it and you will not know for sure if that is a legitimate email, safe to open and click. It has happened to all of us.

This is when Virus Total comes to play. VirusTotal is a free service that analyzes suspicious files and URLs and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware. We tell clients all the time to think before they click, because you never know if clicking a link could cost your company a lot of money or lost data.
