National Apprenticeship Awards 2017

We are absolutely over the moon to have just won “Highly Commended” in the London region National Apprenticeship Awards for Large Newcomer of the Year 2017.

At Exterion Media we believe that we develop our people and their skills to help them achieve their full potential, and deliver a positive experience for customers. Apprenticeships are an important source of talent that is fundamental to our growth in all parts of our businesses.

EM currently have 14 apprentices working across the business (3.5% of all employees) in various departments, from level 2 to 5 framework and standards. Our youngest apprentice is just 18 and the oldest is 56 years old. We have plans to add another 10 to the programme in 2018.

We are rightly proud of our apprenticeship programme, and we feel that it supports our wider business ambition of creating a diverse inclusive culture. Apprentices are all from socially and ethnically different backgrounds, which we feel reflects the London demographic where we have our Head Office. Through the apprenticeship programme we have been able to bring diverse talent into the business and reinvigorate our existing workforce.
