National Apprentice Week ??
Udi Akaninyene - Traffic Planner

National Apprentice Week ??

Happy #NationalApprenticeshipWeek! We're excited to have a conversation with Akaninyene Udi from Palletline London Ltd . Udi is currently enrolled onto an apprenticeship, and he is sharing his career journey for far in the logistics industry.

?? What’s your job title and what are you studying through an apprenticeship?

I work as a Transport Planner and am pursuing an apprenticeship in Departmental and Operational Management at Level 5.

??? How are you finding the apprenticeship learning process, and would you recommend it to others?

It's quite intense but beneficial and is giving me a comprehensive understanding of my professional goals. I would advise all aspiring and future leaders to pursue.

?? What inspired you to sign up to an apprenticeship with your company?

I'm confident that this apprenticeship will give me a great foundation for my professional career. I'll gain transferrable skills in addition to practical ones, like taking initiative and solving problems both individually and as a team.

?? Describe your current job role in just three words:

  1. Fast-paced
  2. Sincere
  3. Patient

?? If you could have any superhero power to help with your job, what would it be and why?

Sensitivity to the thoughts and emotions of others.? After completing the studies, I've realised how important emotional intelligence is to my line of work, and I'm prepared to learn and use it.

?? If you had a crystal ball that could predict one future trend or innovation in logistics, what would you hope to see?

In the near future, I hope to see logistics performance optimised and digitalised, as well as process simplification through automation.

?? Share a fun fact about yourself that others might not know.

I am quite cheerful, carefree, and jovial.

Absolutely inspiring to see the growth and development of the apprentices at Palletline Group during #NationalApprenticeshipWeek! ?? As Nelson Mandela once said - Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. These apprentices are not just shaping their futures, but are actively contributing to the innovation in logistics. ??? #SkillsForLife #FutureLeaders
