National Academy of Engineering Elects 87 Members

I am humbled and honored to have been elected into the National Academy of Engineering. It is an incredible honor to be included among these distinguished Engineers in service to our nation.

I believe the mission of the NAE summarizes it well:

“The mission of the National Academy of Engineering is to advance the well-being of the nation by promoting a vibrant engineering profession and by marshalling the expertise and insights of eminent engineers to provide independent advice to the federal government on matters involving engineering and technology.”

I have always been proud of being an Engineer and have enjoyed devoting time to developing the next generation of Engineers. It is a privilege to be part of this great organization where I can continue that effort.
