Nation Builder of the Year Award 2020

It was a great honour for me to once again put together the Nation Builder of the Year Award this year for the Empire Club of Canada. We spent a lot of time and effort making it as professional as possible, and getting together a number of prominent Canadians to help us celebrate our winners this year, Canada's frontline workers. They each gave moving and highly personal testimonials, as did the frontline workers themselves who we approached to be in this production.

Taking 27 pieces of video and weaving them into a show was a huge challenge, but one that we enjoyed immensely. This is a granular production , to be sure, but one that we believe Canadians will be able to look back on decades from now when they want to really understand what was happening on the ground in Canada during the greatest health crisis of our generation.
