Nashville's Airport Sees Record Traffic
Nashville Stars Baseball Club
Deeply rooted in Tennessee’s rich baseball history, we are committed to bringing Major League Baseball to Music City.
A mark of a great, modern city is a state-of-the-art airport, and Nashville's $1.4 billion investment into expanding Nashville International Airport (BNA) is already paying dividends.?
Last week, BNA announced a record-breaking 12-month period for number of passengers, with 18.4 million travelers collectively?in the fiscal year that ended June 30, according to data reported by The Nashville Post.
According to a release, the figure is 7 percent higher than the 17.1 million mark of the previous record year of 2019.?
In addition, BNA served 840,258 departing passengers in May, the largest number of screened passengers in a single month for the airport. On June 26, BNA recorded a record-breaking 33,317 screened passengers.
The airport is now averaging 261 daily airline departures to 97 nonstop domestic and international destinations.
The importance of this cannot be overstated for our mission to bring Major League Baseball to Music City. Not only is BNA a state-of-the-art facility, but it is now boasting robust domestic and international route networks that enable Nashville to be an easy destination to travel to and from.?
Whether future Nashville Stars and MLB fans are visiting the city for a long weekend, coming back home from a business trip or vacation, or coming to town for a major event like the MLB All-Star Game, we're confident that they'll be able to find a flight to Music City.

2 年I have visited “Music City” several times over the past three decades and there is so much to love there. And as Skip so passionately reports, this town is steeped in baseball history. It’s really exciting to think that an MLB Franchise might land here. I have been to the First Horizon Park and was super impressed! It’s Beautiful! And then I got to thinking - Would this be the site of the new team? Implode and rebuild a state of the art facility? What happens to the Sounds? Relocated? Disbanned? I’m sure all that’s been discussed… has anyone heard that conversation?
