Nashville Area Life-Long Learners are Encouraged to Enroll
Sherman G. Mohr
My company delivers liquid to lips samplings, activations, and tech that grows revenue for alcohol suppliers and the entire customer base they serve.
For 26 years University School of Nashville has been curating subject matter and associated volunteer experts to offer up wonderful courses for Nashville's life-long learners. If you are one of #nashville's population that appreciates the opportunity to join classmates in a setting where learning is fun, then I highly encourage you to check out this year's course catalog.
The catalog is robust and the class list is extensive. There is no better value in town for those who appreciate classroom settings, shared experiential learning, and new connections.
You'll find the courses are inexpensive and all proceeds go directly to this great school's endowment for need-based scholarships.
I'm pleased to be included in this year's roster of classes with a Blue Ocean Leadership offering. I thought it appropriate to share a little more about the class I'll be leading.
The inspiration for a Blue Ocean leadership class stems from the fact that leadership is essentially a service. Your friends, family, colleagues, service organization volunteers, everyone with whom you associate, chooses to either buy or not buy your leadership.
If the various constituencies in your life are not "buying" your leadership, they are in essence, your “noncustomers”.
The core premise of Blue Ocean Strategy is to find one's noncustomers and develop a low cost/high-value proposition that brings those noncustomers into a relationship.
While at INSEAD's Blue Ocean Strategy Institute in 2019, obtaining my certification, I witnessed first hand, Certified Practitioners provide Blue Ocean Strategy tools and methods for developing innovative methods of building personal leadership.
Each participant will learn how to build a Blue Ocean Leadership Strategy Canvas as well as other key elements of Blue Ocean Strategy.
I highly recommend checking out the course catalog. The sessions being offered sell out fast so take advantage of this short window of opportunity.
I would also be honored if you shared my offering with anyone you feel would be interested in the topic. #BlueOceanStrategy is a many year-long passion of mine and I'm thrilled to share the work in this context and for this great cause.
