NASA Selects Atmo as 1 of 10 Innovative Companies in Earth, Sky, and Space
NOVEMBER 16, 2021 - NASA Langley Research Center, VIRGINIA - NASA today announced the selection of Atmo as one of 10 innovative companies with the greatest commercial potential and application to NASA missions, from a pool of more than 100 submitted technical whitepapers.
NASA’s iTech initiative, which accelerates interactions between private companies and NASA stakeholders, focused on several themes in 2021, notably, “Physics-Based Machine Learning for Artificial Intelligence” and “Technologies Using NASA Data to Foster Climate Resilience.”
“The NASA iTech showcase provides an opportunity for companies addressing NASA-relevant commercial markets to pitch to a diverse group of stakeholders that include NASA center chief technologists and other NASA subject matter experts, and potential investors in their fields,” says Maxwell Briggs, acting program manager for NASA iTech.
Atmo is scheduled to participate in an upcoming NASA forum on December 8-9 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“We’re excited to expand Atmo’s reach through NASA to better serve America and its partners in earth and space science,” added Johan Mathe, Atmo’s Chief Technology Officer.
