NASA Announces Artemis II Backup Crew Member for Moon Mission

In a significant step forward for NASA’s Artemis campaign, the agency has selected astronaut Andre Douglas as the backup crew member for the Artemis II test flight. This mission marks the first crewed mission under NASA’s ambitious Artemis program, which aims to establish a sustainable human presence on the Moon and eventually pave the way for human expeditions to Mars.
