Narrative Wars: Competition for Minds of the Masses

The challenge of competition for minds in narrative war is at an all-time high level just about to go the next level. Minds come about because of narratives. Today as we speak, we are witnessing the lowest point of our collective narrative as lovers of democracy of Free People Power. The world some of it is simply saying we have heard enough of your sanctimonious sermonizing and sanctions to the western democracy now. From our neighbors, allies, and friends they simply look at the western democracy as a den of hypocrisy. Dumping on western democracies in narratives is populist now. Even right here among our citizens in the west. This is beyond a trend but reality today. That pattern is here now.

Do we deserve this new thinking globally?

Yes and No.

Yes, we have been hypocrites when it suited western democracies, we invoked our ideals and when not we invoked our strengths to bear on the situation. But who doesn’t do this in this world of ours. It is just that the world is mismatched in strength, ability, and economic means to bring to bear on things. Blessed were the generations of western democracies that came before tried to keep a balance on things. Between strength and persuasion means. Now it is all strength. Take it or leave mentality. The resulting pattern is we will leave now is what the world is shouting back at the western democracies. Look to coming BRICS coalition talking points, the refusal of even small countries of western powers presence case in point Niger in Africa. Look to the talking points coming from Mexico to Colombia today. Ardent allies of America in yesteryears to what the entire region of middle east in the streets we lost an entire hemisphere to this logic. The political order of the world is not independent of the thinking of the masses in their mindset. Expect more to go this route now in populist outbursts of anti-western democracies dogma which is now globally mainstream. The pattern has emerged.

The politics of today of strength of narratives dictates we have a choice in the west, especially America. We either engage again with a pivoted narrative adapt posture and go again with our ideals with hat in hand accepting our shortcomings. The honest choice.

This choice also has a facet of we load back Cold War mentality west narrative means. Cold War mentality narrative means of the west says good you want to leave us behind, bad you want to kick us out, worse you want to work against us as an order of nations. We too have a choice to go our own way. Refocus on ourselves, spend on ourselves, and build along with those willing to come along. In essence don’t call when disaster strikes, and you need a friend, ally or partner. Since today you refuse to be our friend, ally, or partner.

The Cold War mentality of the west will do everything in its power for their order to survive then thrive in it. That means a return of cold war status narratives of persuasion of the masses to our ideals if not causes. There is less room for nonaligned today. Get a seat at our table and we break bread together in a new understanding and dynamics. Come with terms and conditions we should tell the world as to our new relationship status. Each nation, community and society decide for itself, there is no coercion, but persuasion means deployed anew. Welcome to multilateral access to resources and wallets for the business of any nation is business first. Join in with others for the scramble, with naked interests understood clearly. Not that the west does not have a bag of goodies for those who come along. From Aid to development means to loans and technological advancement shared. The more democratic an ally you are the more you gain from western democracies. Then comes the mutual assured security alliance to make it work.

Those who come along by their own choice get to benefit from us, those who don’t well we do business only. No more sermonizing and sanctioning narratives just persuasion means. For the business of republics is business but on limited terms of it only for those nonaligned. The days of this order being friends to all is over. Strategic friendship and alliances to be rebuilt across the world. The narrative of it proceeds that.

The No part, well the current global narrative did not come about abracadabra means of magic or a spell binding the world today. It was a result of failures by our western governments to actively compete on global scale in narratives. They believed in their own metrical dogma and informational awareness narratives campaigns will work against the tide of a world that is wide awake thanks to asymmetrical means deployed against them globally. Here the foundation had been laid by theocrats, dictators and communists who looking for an outrage outlet, deflection of their shortcomings as an order. Well western democracies just made it easy for them. Synced the masses of the world against the west. The narratives existed in murmurs and discontent globally.

Theocrats, dictators and communists just weaponized it. From our western actions to history, politics and yes, our access to resources and how it came about. They basically turned the tide on narratives of the western democracies not out of strength of their argument but outrage Weaponized means of it. Built, nurtured, and paid for its dissemination globally. Whether we Like it, or not western democracies are the bogey man of the world now. The source of every conspiracy going viral. The legacy of slavery, colonialism, neocolonialism, and our sermonizing attitudes of the past coming back to haunt us today. Them theocrats, dictators and communist funded this process for close to 3 decades. They are now harvesting the seeds they planted then. What we did to counter it has failed abysmally.

The world is going one way in understanding of minds of the masses in narratives and western democracies look isolated are going another path.

What is the role then of the common man and woman of the west in this narrative deficit facing us as citizens of western democratic nations?

We lose minds globally we lose resources and wallets. Translation the elite and powerful will always get bread. Me and you we will have to scramble in this rat race getting rattier. Here your interest is that we engage again in narratives for this age. As Average Mohamed we tried for close to a decade to do so. Trotted across the country to build that understanding, and then the world. Last year in Africa. Years before in Singapore, Asia.

How do you engage being a common man or woman citizen?

Based on shared values. Everyone in this world agrees extremism does not serve them, so we taught counter ideology to denature the ideology of extremism. Be it Violent Jihadist to racist white supremacist, two sides of the same coin of supremacy of faith misunderstood or color lines misrepresented in values. From Antisemitism, racism, islamophobia to anti LGBTQQ community values that lead to violence and hate. While promoting democracy in its true form Freedom, Liberties, and rights, based on cultures, religions, social constructs, and values of the masses at their understanding at their acceptance level of it. We went to the masses of people where they are at based on reality, politics, governance and interests of theirs globally not just ours. By creating talking points in promoting the free people power over unfree means of dictatorship, theocracy, and communism such as Russia, Iran and China with respect to them but adamantly against their narrative gone global for unfree ways.

This my urgently needed friends, allies, and partners is the way. The path forward. Average Mohamed tied all these complex issues together because of one value. Limited say in how we live, governed, and socially understood to be the FREE PEOPLE of the world. Peacefully and nonviolently using narratives. In the theocrats, dictators and communist order of things. We the people common man and woman don’t even have limited say. That is the competition of narrative wars now we urge all lovers of democracy to embrace and take on.

Unfortunately, due to structural biases and means of institutional limitations in America, yes even here a champion for these values cannot pass the gate keepers of governance. Again, my color, religion and politics of the right does not endear me to the system. It is a bad system today I find myself in, not evil by any chance but damn sometimes I wish I could get what the communist, dictators and theocrats give their champions from my country America too. That day is not here today, but tomorrow inshallah. You see in America the impossible is always possible we believe in as its citizens.

Average Mohamed urges all go to work with narratives set to win one mind, one soul at a time for the cause. The cause has always been for the common man and woman freedom, liberties, and rights: Free Peoples Power of limited say globally as to how we should be governed by our elites and powerful of the world. Especially this age of chaos of it. With the onset of great state orders competition gone global again. We are in a Cold War now.

Democracy is a beautiful thing, well worth it to be a narrative warrior we evangelize to the world now. Do it for your own commons and woman interests by wanting limited say over no say in this world we urge. If it’s competition they totalitarians want for minds of the masses globally.
