During a two-day visit to Stockholm, Sweden, United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed joined an intimate roundtable dialogue with young tech innovators, senior diplomats, and executives from 爱立信 and the Dataspelsbranschen / Swedish Games Industry to explore the emerging Global Digital Compact priorities to deliver an open, free, inclusive, and secure digital future - with the young generation at the forefront.

The roundtable, co-hosted by the Government of Sweden, the Government of the Republic of Rwanda, and UNICEF Office of Innovation, centered around the promise of youth-designed and localised digital solutions to unlock Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outcomes.?

Young people are champions of change, leading the way in advocating and innovating for inclusiveness and equality in the digital space. During the roundtable, young business founders Alexandra Butmalai , William Bergh , and Wilma Emanuelsson presented their tech solutions - from developing eye-tracking technology and machine learning to help people with dyslexia read and learn fluently, to enabling the first circular battery trading platform.
