?? Nap Masters, Thermostats, and What You Do

Here are some recent snippets from my weekly review. Each week I look back and record takeaways from what I've been thinking, reading, and experiencing in the classroom and in life. Think, Learn, Share, Repeat.

  • Science education helps students develop their ability to ask good questions, problem-solve, and collaborate effectively.
  • Anchor activities are the perfect solution for students who finish their work early. These activities can be useful classroom management tools.
  • Nap Master - Naps are good for you, and yes you can become a "Nap Master".
  • Thermostat - How you handle yourself can control the temperature of a room. Your body and language tone adjusts the thermostat.
  • It's True - "No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world." - Robin Williams
  • Model lifelong learning. Teachers spend so much time giving kids assignments and directions. Spend time talking about what you've been learning. Ask the students what they've been learning. Over time what you do holds more weight than what you say.
