Nano Tips to Boost Productivity

Do you want to know a surprisingly simple strategy used by the world’s most successful people to get the most done in a few hours - TIME BOXING.

It takes a to do list to the next level by determining when you will do your tasks. There are 3 steps:

  1. Brain Dump all of your tasks, what is it that you need to work on for the day
  2. Identify the top 3 priorities of the day, what’s most important
  3. Time box, assign a fixed period of time to each priority. Log off the time in your calendar and stick to it

Little hint, we tend to be over optimistic and underestimate how long tasks take. It's called the PLANNING FALLACY. So, when starting out double your time estimates just to be safe. This technique works so well because it will eliminate the paradox of choice where we can’t decide what to do next and allows you to strategically prioritize your tasks and you have a clear record of how long tasks take to help with future planning.
