Nancy Simoneau, Groupe Simoneau, Elected Board Chair; Gary Persichini, Victory Energy, & Michael Brecker, Frederick Cowan Products by ICI, Join Board

The American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) proudly announces the historic election of Nancy Simoneau, President of Groupe Simoneau, as the first woman to serve as Board Chair in the organization's 137-year history.

"I am deeply honored to take on the role of Chair of the American Boiler Manufacturing Association (ABMA). While it is notable that I will be the first woman to hold this position, I am here because of the hard work and openness of the incredible individuals who have made this organization. Together, we will continue to strengthen our industry and advance our shared goals," said Nancy Simoneau.

In addition, the Board of Directors elected Bryan O’Toole from Burnham Holdings as Vice-Chair and Mark Wehmeier from Webster for the role of Treasurer. Mark Colman has transitioned to the role of Immediate Past Chair.

ABMA President & CEO Scott Lynch stated, “I am so excited to partner with our incoming Chair Nancy Simoneau and rest of our new officers to take ABMA to new heights.”

During the 2025 Annual Business Meeting, the ABMA membership elected Gary Persichini from Victory Energy to fill the vacancy created by Doug Wright completing his term as Immediate Past Chair.

ABMA also announced that the Associate Members have elected Steve Kemp from Autoflame to ascend to the role of their Group Chair, replacing Phil Griggs from Honeywell who completed his term. Michael Brecker from Frederick Cowan Products by ICI was elected to the role of Vice-Chair. Each of them will serve a two-year term on ABMA Board of Directors.
