As you may know, I founded The Clyde Fitch Report, a website on arts and politics, some years ago. It has published more than 3,700 articles and has a readership of over 250,000 people a year. More than 30 people write and curate the website. Till now, it has been a purely voluntary effort.

In 54 hours, it may shut down.

The CFR launched its first-ever Kickstarter campaign 28 days ago. Check out the video. Over $14,200 has been raised from 137 backers -- 75% of the goal. Every dollar will be lost if the goal isn't met. The campaign ends Thurs., Apr. 23, 8:01pm.

If you want more and better arts coverage, not less, we need your support.
