Nice spread in The Scotsman (27th Feb 2018) today featuring the work of Amelia Allen's Naked Britain series which will be on show at Gallery-Close from 3rd March to 4th April. See website for opening times. The preview shows are on the 3rd March 6.30 - 9pm with a pre-preview for naturists only 2 - 5.30pm (clothing optional). The work is the antithesis to a world obsessed with fashion and body image. In many ways it is sticking two fingers up to the constant preying on people's insecurities, by media and marketing companies, about how they look and feel about themselves. This refreshing look at a world few people know much about is the antidote and as a result the work has been causing quite a stir.
