- Toxic work environment
- Long working hours including weekends
- No sight of promotion
This had been her life for the past 4 yrs.
We got in touch through Linkedin.
I clearly sense her feeling of being undervalued, unrewarded, unrecognised & unfulfilled!
As we began to dig deep, she realized she cannot continue to blame the environment.
Pointing fingers will not change anything.
Not standing up for herself for years, had lead her to a powerless state.
Suppressed for long, she had clearly had lost her voice.
…leading her to not clear interviews & thus the need to continuously tolerate the negative environment.
But she realized that the responsibility of change was squarely on her shoulders.
Dec 13th, she submitted her resignation.
I usually do not advise clients to resign unless there is an offer on hand, but her case was different.
The toxicity in her environment was hollowing her from inside, day by day.
She had to step out of it to start afresh.
For 2 weeks, she went on a massive action spree- stepping into the best of her confidence, courage and resourcefulness.

Dec 31st, she had an incredible offer letter in hand!
With a much better job, designation, salary & prospect.
She was finally free!
Like a free bird, she again took off and is now flying in the open skies….to destinations unexplored.
Few months into it, she is totally in love with her new job & super excited all the time to create a powerful impact.
Is there anything in the world that cannot change if we take the right actions?
It may look difficult from here.
But it is not impossible.
