NADR and NOSSCR 2023 Recap

This article will recap our time at two industry-leading conferences this spring!

We had a great experience in April at the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) Conference in Denver.

At our booth, we gave out snacks and valuable information about Osterhout Berger.

We sponsored several events, including the Emerging Professionals happy hour, where we gave out insulated cups and Liquid IVs to attendees.

We also sponsored the entertainment at the President's Banquet, where attendees enjoyed a performance from the Cary Morin Duo ( Celeste Di Iorio ).

During the "Dine Around" series, we discussed "How to Deal with Difficult ALJs" and shared tips on staying calm and confident when making arguments.

The conference was an excellent opportunity for networking and gaining valuable insights. NADR's Annual Conference is a can't-miss event for disability representatives looking to advocate better for their clients, and OBL is proud to be a part of it.

We're also very proud to announce that Julie Robin Phelps was named NADR Member of the Year! Read Karl Osterhout 's announcement celebrating Julie.

After the NADR Conference in April, our team went to Washington DC for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) .

Our Managing Partner,?Hannalore B. Merritt, and our SSD Division Partner,?Lindsay Osterhout, hosted an informative session titled "Electronic Connection: Tips and Pitfalls of Communicating with Clients Electronically." The session was moderated by our friend Kevin S. Kerr .

They shared valuable tips and strategies for communicating with clients through electronic media, including sending documents, staying connected throughout the disability process, and protecting sensitive information.
