This award felt like winning the?Champions League?because the expert panel selected N-Bunker from amongst the highly competitive group of existing DigiCirc open call winners.

N-Bunker promotes circularity in bunkering processes

N-Bunker?fosters circularity in the maritime industry by optimising and facilitating sustainable bunkering operations.

Through the application of deeptech (AI and Blockchain), N-Bunker reduces the administrative burden during bunkering at anchorage, resulting in reduced waiting times and elimination of wasted fuel burn, thus facilitating decarbonisation.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 873468, and from Puertos del Estado through Ports of Spain Tradetech Fund.
