1984: The Myth We Sleepwalked Into?

1984: The Myth We Sleepwalked Into?

savvy babies struck by scrolls of data,

cast their doubts on a pleasant fairy land.

unnerved by a predisposed parthenogenesis

and martyrs bequeathing 72,

they outwait the sun & outwit the moon,

a sliding finger, goggle eyes immersed

on play –

hauntingly broken when bleep:

indicates pending flatline:

a proliferative energy rush:

then frantic faces ease rigid pins

back into the circuit.
