This is antiquated and naive.
This may be the single most important long term attractor.
Do you know what engenders "Excitement" in a prospective candidate about your company?
EMPLOYER BRANDING.
My background in sales has taught me that having "Differentiators" that set you apart from everyone else is key to dominating a market.
This should be yours.
Everyone sees those lists and posts on LinkedIn, FB, etc for "Best Places to Work."
If your company is on there, you are in front of the eyeballs of the best people.
You want superstars to crave working for you.
This is built around your brand.
Easy Litmus Test: Ask candidates why they applied for the job? If they don't say, "Your brand" most likely...you are not doing something right.
