Myth Busting Events and Exhibitions!

To the casual observer, the events and exhibitions industry might look rather glamorous. Travelling the globe, meeting new people and experiencing large scale conference events all the time is rather fun, however, there’s a couple things you might not see that go on behind the scenes…

Although we get to see new places, a great deal of our time is actually spent inside conference and exhibition halls. That said, there is often the option to take some time off after the event to explore a new place, just like one of our directors Matt Rice did on his Canadian road trip!

Things have a tendency to happen when you least expect them! Whether a delivery has arrived damaged or delayed, there’s an issue with the coffee machine, or a stand needs some last minute tweaks, that’s when having a project manager onsite is so important, as they look after any? issues for the client. When you have a fab team that supports each other, it’s easy to solve these problems together efficiently.

Finally, the best bit of the whole experience is seeing a stand up and running! We will stay on as long as it takes, often until the late evening to oversee projects for clients, but it is all worth it when you see event attendees interacting with the stand and our client’s team. Never mind the cool location, or the people you might meet - when you see a project come together it’s a great feeling!
