The Myth about Bullfighting

The Myth about Bullfighting

Bulls live like kings until they get to the rings.

Proponents of bullfights argue that bulls destined for bullfights live like kings. That’s bull!

Let’s see how these 4-legged friends truly live:

1. They are insensitively separated from their mothers shortly after birth.

2. The baby then gets stamped in the ear with the breeder’s name. They also have their ears cut, without anesthesia whatsoever. Who needs to be numbered?!

3. Once the bull reaches the age of 2-3 years, he is tested for his resilience. He gets stabbed by a sword 4 times to see how he reacts. Barbaric!

4. Bulls travel in seclusion to the bull rings and are kept apart for several days. Who needs bull social interaction?! ?

5. Hours before the fight, the horns are shaved so they can't calculate the distance from the horn to the bullfighter.

The pivotal moment in these so-called “kings” lives is when the bull enters the bullfight and they are stabbed repeatedly until the matador decides it’s time for the kill. Does this sound like the lifestyle of a king?

How has this false myth changed your opinion on bullfighting?
