Mysterious Role Of Numbers And Patterns: Repeated appearance of number thirteen in my life

Who hasn’t heard of numbers and who there is who hasn’t dealt with numbers?

Even a layman with a little awareness knows that numbers are important and it occupies as much of our daily lives as much in the daily functioning of this?entire creation and reality?wherein we move on through time.

It isn’t only the prerogative of the mathematicians and scientists who study, learn, discover and explore numbers in any explicit or hidden form that may be underlying in the nature, universe or reality and acting as one significant factor for the running of the same.

Use?of mathematics and, hence, numbers and any of its derivatives and concepts is must for unraveling the truth of reality which is further used and improved for discovering the unknown. And in the unveiling of the same, numbers ranging from the smallest imaginable, nearly infinitesimal e.g. the?Planck’s constant?to the most humongous, nearly unimaginable e.g. the?density of a?black hole?are used and newer significance of reality in the light of those numbers is also discovered.

Patterns and numbers together combined or patterns or numbers giving rise to the other are an important tool in discovering the true nature and workings of the reality. If understood fully it has the?potential of being used in practical lives?for the benefit of human beings and also for quenching the thirst of the seekers and scientists.

Some commonly observed patterns in nature are?fractals,?spiral, meander, explosion, packing, and branching.?Seen again and again in the natural world: from human organs like lungs, circulatory systems, brains; from spiral galaxies to spiral bacteria; from the packing of atomic particles to the packing of grape clusters; to the meandering contours of sand dunes and brain coral ; to the explosion of ice crystals and flower petals; and the branching of lightning and tree limbs.

Similarly?Kaprekar Constant?which happens with any four digit numbers where not all the digits are same;?Fibonacci Numbers?which is the best approximation of the?golden ratio?and seen in different natural objects like flower petals, flock of birds, seed heads, pine cones, fruits and vegetables, tree branches, spiral galaxies, hurricanes, shells etc. There are?Phi,?137 (number), 5,?as well.

Do they tell us something deep and lead us deeper into the workings of the reality?

Then also, there is the?mysterious speed limit for the universe which is the velocity of the light?which is approximately three lakh km per second which cannot be surpassed by any object as per?Einstein’s famous theory of relativity.

And the?cosmological constant?derived by Einstein for justifying the then concept of the static universe and then his taking it back as the the “biggest blunder” of his life is also no less intriguing.

It is just that figure what makes this universe possible and finally, be the reason of our existence. Maybe we are the reason the universe is there. Probably, the universe needs us or we both need each other. If we take the essence of the?anthropic principle?we are living in a participatory reality.

One can then also peep into the?pseudo science of?numerology?which promises to unravel the deep mystery of of the numbers in one’s life which is relevant to his sun sign and or moon sign and other so called planetary positions which as per their claim control our lives.

Although my favorite,?number 13?is considered unlucky by most people.

They are afraid of being associated with 13 in any possible manner. This is one reason why many hotels, lodges, apartments don’t have any room, suite, cabin assigned number 13 or anything ending in 13. Some of the buildings don’t have any 13th floor.

Whatever it be, I am giving you a list of facts associated with number 13 or its reverse, i.e. 31, which incidents, events, special experience took place in this lifetime of mine and all of them were coincidentally a first of its kind or novel and had some special significance. I will leave it to you to interpret what they could really mean, if at all.

1. My roll number was 13 in my my first ever high school

2. My roll number was 31 for my first ever board exam for 10th standard

3. I was 13 years old: India won the limited over cricket world cup in 1983

4. I consider I have achieved enlightenment, epiphany, awakening and it took place in 1994… The last two digits added up make 13

5. I started my first ever coaching business on 13th July 1996

6. I ended the same business on 31st December 1999

7. My first love happened in 2001 when I was 31 years old

8. I talked to my girlfriend — now my spouse — for the first time on 13th July 2005

9. The first time I met her was on 31st July 2005

10. 2013 was the year when I had to conduct West Bengal Panchayat General Election for the West Bengal State Election Commission as an administrative officer of the government

11. 2013 was also the year when I did purchase my first ever property

12. I purchased that property on 13th May

13. My father who had been a sailor for most part of his life passed away on 13th October 2015

Did any of you notice that?the list, so far,?contains?thirteen?experiences of my life?

Believe me friends, each of the above is fact, and in none of those did I exercise any conscious choice. I suppose this list is pretty cool and this is?even “prettier” than coincidence.
