My New Job in AI + Innovation = QOL

I am thrilled to announce that I recently joined Aspen Dental Management, Inc. as a Technical Product Manager - AI and Innovation. Dental practices and urgent care centers are rapidly adopting AI tools to drive innovation, control health care costs, and improve quality and compliance across the board. AI already saves doctors time and improves quality of care and quality of life (QOL).

I didn’t know that two years ago when I wrote the story The Knowledge Wars?: Brushing your Teeth. Now I know that AI is reaching new heights in healthcare and dental care. I wonder if that article helped me land this job. My mom says be careful what you write online because it's permanent ink. Isn’t it interesting that my story about the AI Toothbrush includes a screenshot of the weather in Whiting, IN. Whiting is just 20 miles away from Aspen Dental’s new HQ in Chicago. 

My friends know that I have been searching for that perfect job in AI Product Management, AI Innovation, or Knowledge Engineering. I never imagined finding a job that hit the mark on all three... an and not an or. My knowledge engineering hat will come in handy in my new job. 

Finding work is hard work. Now that I have found my dream job, I'm going to help my friends and family find theirs. I also want to say thank you to my friends and family for your support, and to a team of Key Players and advisors who built the stage that I play on.

Jessica Hernandez is about to graduate with a dual degree in Sustainability Studies and Economics with a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Florida. She is looking for work in a non-profit organization, in public service, or public interest. She wants to study public interest law with a focus in human rights and environment issues.
