Introduction
?
Having effectively and successfully accomplished the all rounded quality education package as a physics teacher in the implementation of practicum for basic skills of learning improvements as well as in?science laboratory experiment towards the betterment of the level of understandings of students in science and creativity from besides the subject?active learning system from?high school level up to college preparatory level in Malle Woreda, South Omo zone;?I returned to my previous tasks in Gibson School Systems a year ago to accomplish tasks in special education program in the mobile school campus, in the preparation of the GSS school books following the continuation of its review tasks four years ago, and finally to carry out the duties and responsibilities which I have been recently engaged to ,as a special editor in here, the?department of educational material production and curriculum development so that I her by try to prepare the reports on the general performance evaluation and job accomplishment in my stay of work onwards.

1.?????Internal iterance exam
?
Though the iterance exam as an editor seems difficult I directly sat for an exam as soon as I had been recommended to compete for the internal work position, and got the opportunity by taking one subjective exam as well as another work proficiency exam and achieved accumulative of 101%. I’m very surprised the way how I join these staff after then due to their higher quality and standard qualification with respective and unlike other competent professionals, whom I would like to acknowledge all of them for their spatial work training respective to the tasks in order to adapt the working atmosphere, and help me to cope up with the scheduled of multi integrated tasks in the department

Before my first work impression in here, ?I transferred from the head office after documenting the GSS’s school books and manuals preparation in blue print, hard copy and soft croppies. The documented soft croppies in the laptop of the HO, and some paper works in my previous office of ?Dashen Building is listed as follow.

Just after I joined this department I were assigned to document the GSS’s adventures books and Exams for each of eleven campus modules by their grade level , by campus, by their title, and?by the year of preparation in the way which is easier for referrers to find?and return.
3.?????Work Orientation, Training and seminars
During my stay in the ?first week, at the beginning of the new work position, in the department of Education development, I were being well oriented how to accomplish an integrated tasks easily and effectively through a well prepared training modules by the department manager, Mr. Assga Lemma, of which I’m very satisfied and became capable enough to tackle with urgent tasks and work burdens in order to solve problems in a team.
And, during my stay in the next two week, I were well trained and oriented through working on data with the vise department managers by incurring data from the mark least to the web database browser, cross checking results, analyzing grade reports, as well as through assisting other members of the staff in checking and correcting the exam sheets up to recording them on mark lists.
In addition to attending on the weekly meetings, I am sure I got enough professional development trainings from the monthly staff conference which is being prepared by the Department Manager. I also attended on the schools ceremony such as culture days, founders day, staff appreciation day etc so that I’m that I took the advantage from such experience sharing activities.

4.?????Exam invigilation’s
I have been invigilating entrance work proficiency exam four time since I begin my work as a special editor, and almost successfully carried out the invigilation, properly recording their reports up to submissions even with some days of substitution although there might be some lack of serious follow up were feed backed during evaluation.
?
5.?????Editing and evaluating exam prepared,
Although I expected to edit main major subjects for higher grades in collaborating with my colleagues, the department manager assigned me for lower grades in environmental science, Math, Amharic and computer, in order to carry out the editing responsibility as possible as, I think, to the extent of?my experience in supplementary book preparation. The editing tasks have been accomplished using the seven steps in two ways as follow.

5.1?From the email, the received ones ( soft copies) up to the printed ones ( hard copies)
At the beginning of my job, there was a barriers in exchanging the soft copied manuscripts directly from the school campus teachers, instead , I tried to do my best by taking those arrived exams from four of the corresponding subject’s previous editors from their PC using the flash disk , my closer work colleagues, during my stay of dedication for the whole second quarter, though it was tiresome and time taking.
However, after the beginning of the third quarter, the above mentioned problems were more or less solved except some campus teachers are still sending the soft copy manuscripts directly to the former corresponding special editors. I don’t know why the corresponding subject teachers couldn’t send them to me both the regular and the missed exams soft copy manuscripts at the same time, once after they were informed about my email address!
5.2?From Secretarial hard copy to final answer keys copy
I am very glad to appreciate all of the three secretaries whom I came across with during editing and evaluating the hard copies of exams’ manuscripts, for their willing cooperation, schedules’ follow up , dedications and hard work towards the exams preparations at least within a month ahead.

NB: The level of editing, the quality of the exams, the standard evaluation and answer key matches are tried to be explained in a list as in average for the total number of exams delivered after the accomplishments of editing tasks.

Since some exams couldn’t match with their answer key, I were forced to prepare the like of them based on the level of understanding of each grade students by crosschecking them within the scope and the page range?they have covered in the class room less followed by the feedbacks from the vice department managers.
?
Above all, I can say all edited exams submitted for final publishing up to the expected level, as well as all subjects exams are standardized due to the common discussion between the master editor and editors, in addition to his best exam assessment strategy forwarded ahead of time.??

6.?????Assisting tasks in ?the department/staff
?
I have been participated on Some tasks such as ordering for?printing, copying , etc as well as on current staff activities.
7.?????Checking, Correcting, marking, counting, mark listing exam results
Although this is a necessary job which is related to exam editing, evaluating standards after students are done the exams, the distribution of the unlimited amount of exam papers is creating an influence not to complete other basic editing tasks on time.?

From the above table, we can estimate the number of sections which I have been engaged to check, to correct, to mark, to count, and to record marks on their corresponding mark lists through assisting main subject’s exam receivers whom campus supervisors delivered after collecting them from the school branches main teachers. Although these tasks seem easier, it’s not fair to give non proportional burdens to one since only the seating arrangement is closer to the stocked exam papers.

8.?????Stamping Exams up to its publishing
Although this task is directed at least once by weekly from the secretaries it wastes our time from exam editing and evaluation tasks according to the schedule. ?
However, the miss page to page match amount of exam number and pages with a few?number of question become the cause for some wastage of papers as far as I faced such work?load.

9.1?Hard copy mark lists
As have been oriented by Mr. Yared all the procedures beginning from marking results up to recording on the mark lists, I accomplished checking and correcting?almost 245 sections’ exam papers in addition to valuing and counting marks.?
?

9.2?Soft copy mark lists
Though it was a complex and difficult duty, with the closer cooperation of Mr. Dessalegn, I tried my best towards the accomplishing of all recorded data from the mark lists from all school branches, as shown in the above specified table, to the web browser of GSS grade reporting database. Every student’s grade report were changing instantly through the change incurred before and after their exam correction is given as indicated from what we filled from extra format later on, so that it took us at least to cross check each of subjects incurrence twice.
Consequently, the grade report analysis which was directed to me fro the manager was not a simple duty to be completed on the report analyzing formats that I can say that I already submitted to him after completing the first phase responsibly.

9.3?Incurring data
Following the above mentioned difficult work, I would like to thank the administrators giving me only subject editing in grade levels though all staff begins to incur results from mark list to the database web browser.?
