My year in books

It’s time to wrap-up my reading exercise for this year. I read 50 books (42 print, 8 Kindle), and learned so much about so many things.

I’ve added a heart ?? next to my top 10 (but I must confess it was really hard to pick my favorite ten, I read so many good books this year). The reason why these are my favorite ones is a mix of factors. Some of these books covered topics dear to my heart. Some others took me out of my comfort zone and really challenged me. Some surprised me in positive ways and some others just came to me at the right time (Books tend to do that from time to time, they come to you when you most need them or only when you're ready to hear what they have to say).

I’ll be posting a separate review for each of those 10 books in the coming weeks, but for now, let's celebrate the love of reading!

??2023 was a good reading ride. Some books were a delight, some others I struggled with, but overall, I had a great time. I made an effort to read more novels (I prefer non-fiction) and I liked the experiment, I'll try to keep that up.
