My Year 2023 on LinkedIn in Numbers.

Even if I'm far behind other LinkedIn members or LinkedIn influencers, number-wise 2023 was a good year for me! And I want to share the figures with you. It may help you to learn. Maybe not!

Follower Growth

Also this year I had a stable follower growth. I started on the first of January 2023 with 20,022 followers. Today, on the last day of 2023, I can count 23,890 people in my network. So, I grew by 3,868 followers and my average follower growth was 11 followers per day. Thank you everyone!

Impression Growth

The impressions on my posts increased by 1,230 % compared to last year. In total, I achieved 2,192,602 impressions with my content in 2023.

Engagement Growth

Also, my total engagements increase by an unbelievable 1,363%. In total, my network engaged with my content 40,751 times.

Engagement Rate

So, based on impressions in relation to engagements, the average engagement rate on my post in 2023 was 1,86%. This is a point I need to improve in 2024.


Most Successful Content

My top-performing posts based on impressions gained in the last 365 days were the following. My best post ever achieved 205,279 impressions. It was about quantum computing!

Almost 10,000 other LinkedIn members visited my profile in the last year. I hope it's due to my regular content contribution.

Conclusion

My conclusion is that content that touches many people is often the best-performing content. But I'm not sure I will stand for this content. Also in 2024, I would like to post about Innovation in Marketing, Digital Marketing, and I want to motivate others with their personal branding efforts.
