My Writing Journey - Behind The J

Today I woke up and was told it is time to start my writing journey. That feels like a silly statement since I’ve been journaling for the past 5 years or so. It is time to take my writing journey to the small stage though. It is time to put my ideas in the public sphere. I don’t actually feel one way or another about it. It just seems like the next step I am to take on this journey to wherever it is that I am going.

My history of journaling will serve as the backbone of my writing but there is no need for that to be the extent of it. I feel I will naturally explore topics that interest me and are relevant to my experiences and my journey. I am not sure where the path will lead but I am sure it will be an interesting development.

Reading and writing have always been a strong part of my soul and it seems they are finally beginning to flower. It's very childish of me but the last push actually came from a letter my mother wrote me saying I write like an author. It's funny that even as an adult the slightest praise from your parents can mean so much.

So now I guess my moniker is Jeristotle the rapper, writer, and tech entrepreneur. It all makes sense in the way a good story eventually does. It all comes together in the middle and then it just plays out until the end.
