My worst job was…

One of the lowest paid, ‘worst’, jobs I ever had was when I was in my teens.? I had to remove the round, red, ‘SALE’ stickers from thousands and thousands of VHS videos.? Me and around 20 others who couldn’t find better work in the holidays, in a farm building just outside Cambridge, England.? Freezing when it was cold, sweating buckets when it was hot.? One radio playing Radio 1 and its infernal playlist of songs over and over again.? A mountain of boxes that never seemed to go down.

It was so much fun!? Of course the job was terrible, and the pay worse, but getting to hang out every day with my friends was the best thing ever.

So much of our life is determined not by the experiences we have but by the people we’re with when we have them.???

Kinda makes sense to focus on surrounding yourself with the right people…
