My work as a futurist helps me drive change in the world...
Speaking at the Google Partner Plex at 3Q's 3Questions Summit

My work as a futurist helps me drive change in the world...

Hello! I’m Nik, and I'm a futurist.

I devote my time working with clients to research future trends in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Smart Cities, Big Data, Privacy and Surveillance, Renewable Energy, Blockchain, Biohacking and Medicine, and other exponential technologies. In fact, I cover so many different kinds of technologies that it's hard to summarize here - you can see more of what excites me at my website.

I live to work with clients that have a curious mind and a passion for change.

Why do I do what I do?

My mission is to drive world leaders to take action in creating a better world for humanity. In my mind every person is a world leader and has the ability to effect change. Obviously, I also work with people who are considered to be 'world leaders' and they have a wider ranging impact and resources available to drive changes.

I provide expertise, built from over 35 years of experience, in new technologies and promote exponential thinking with a critical, honest, and optimistic view that empowers you to plan for today, tomorrow, and for the future.

Change is inevitable. You have to change, or change will happen to you.

'The Future of the Internet of Things'

I worked with the event organizers to provide a provocative opening keynote at Wavefront's annual conference on the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT). My talk discusses where IoT originated, where we are today, its implications, smart cities, and where we are likely heading in the future.

'Water the Most Serious Business'

Water is the most essential resource in the world. It’s the building block for life, for business, for cities, and for new modes of energy. I researched and provided deep insights and foresight around where we are headed with a vision of 2030 and how water management will evolve using big data, automation, and the Industrial Internet of things, sustainability, smart cities, and future utilities companies, waste water management, and the energy and food supply chain.
