My Woodshed Moment With God.

"TC God told me to tell you that you have a Kingly anointing on your life and you are to study it so you know how to operate in that special anointing" these words were spoken to me by Apostle J L Cash well before I had my own nationally syndicated television show.

At the time these words were spoken to me, I had only recently published my God Made Millionaire Book and had done a television show with my good friend, Damon Davis, about the book but the show had not aired yet.

So I went and bought a couple books on Amazon Kindle on the Kingly anointing.

A few days later, I was restless and could not sleep and I felt impressed to start reading those books. 

I did and the author in the one book really, really really, was committed to having this Kingly anointing on his life.

Me?

Once I understood what it was and the great responsibility that comes with that anointing, I was convinced that Apostle Cash had missed it.

Who in their right mind would want such an anointing?

It was at that moment, that I felt impressed to watch the show that had not aired yet with Damon Davis on the God Made Millionaire book.

It was early in the morning when I felt the Lord telling me to do this and I fought it, I wanted to go to sleep and the Lord said "I want you to watch that show again."

So I did.

My jaw dropped when I saw what was over my right shoulder for that entire interview.

I wrestled with this Kingly anointing issue until one early morning in my office, I said "Lord, I accept this Kingly anointing but I want you to know that I NEVER asked you for this."

The Lord was not pleased with this and took me to the woodshed.

"Let me ask you this" the Lord said.

"Did you ask me for a nationally syndicated television show?"

"No Lord, I didn't" was my feeble response.

"Did you ask me for the show to air in prime time?"

"No Lord, I didn't" was my feeble response.

"Did you ask me for a bank vault door open for the show?"

"No Lord, I didn't" was my feeble response.

Did you ask me for a custom bank vault door for your custom television studio set?

"No Lord, I didn't" was my feeble response.

Listen carefully, God never will ask you a question that he does not know the answer too.

I got the message loud and clear.

This post is not intended to be a bragging or boastful post, and my humility is not something that I faked before God, it is what I REALLY felt.

I think that really it comes down to the DESERVE issue.

God gives us an assignment and we think he screwed it up because we don't "deserve" it.

Who am I to be given such an assignment? we say to ourselves.

In my case, God had had enough of this nonsense and took me to the woodshed.

So I will say it to you on his behalf this day.

Who are you to be called to this GREAT assignment that you have been given?

You are called and appointed by your GOD, THATS who you are!

God given dreams ALWAYS come pre-approved.

Our show now airs in the most coveted day and time on that entire network, following the TD Jakes Show on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 PM Est.

Would it surprise any of you that I never requested that day and time?

You have been chosen my dear Brother and Sister.

You are a child of DESTINY!
