My wish for you in 2018... yeah you..
Every year I like to write this little blog of appreciation for you all, and share my wish for you next year. Thanks for a great 2017 and here comes 2018...
To my peers in my LinkedIn Network, Third Party Partners and friends - Thank you for sharing great content in the goal of helping others. I have learned much and been inspired by your blogs, stories and videos. I value you as a development partner and look forward to continuous growth form those relationships. Thank you for reading my blogs, watching my videos, and providing feedback and words of encouragement , I hope I have given you some valuable content in return. For all of you, I wish a 2018 of growth, happiness, and most importantly continuous learning.
To my departmental teams: Sales, Client Services and IT at Fusion Homes.( Ashlee, Lauren, Jessica, Catherine, Sarah, Stephanie, Samantha, Helen, Nick, Andrew, Denise, Debra, Mary, Emily, Chloe, Debbie, Chris,Belinda, and Nicole ) Thank you for always caring about each other deeply, as much as you care about our customers. This year has been an interesting one for me with lots of learning, self awareness and growth. This came from you all. You inspire me every day with how passionately you approach your work in regards to satisfying our customers and treating each other like family. In all of my career, I have never seen a team so unified in their approach, how much they genuinely care for each other, and how proud they are of each other. I am so proud of you all. You lift me up when I am challenged, and inspire me with your willingness and desire for knowledge and openness to learning. you come to every: one on one, department meeting, Personal Development Strategy Session, town hall, and so on, willing to learn and improve and take ownership in your personal development. YOU are inspiring to me. 2017 will always have a special place in my heart because of you all. Thank you. For all of you in 2018 , I wish for you : more learning, more wins, more development, more smiles, more laughs and more tears of joy. You deserve it. But before that..I wish you ..REST. Remember sometimes enjoying the ride means reflecting on your accomplishments, but also shutting down completely and enjoying that first Christmas as a couple, or with a little one, or maybe the last one with a special person in your life at the end of their journey. Hugs, tears and smiles are the most valuable things in life, captured in memories that last a life time. Value that first. I have no idea what the future holds for us as individuals, but I can tell you what the past was... a year I will always cherish and hold deeply in my career memory bank as one of the best teams I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Thank you. I genuinely love you guys and gals.
To my departmental leaders - Melinda, Jennifer and Amanda.
You have busted you're butts to be the best you can be. You have been open to learning, constructive criticism, recognition, and new ways forward, and our teams are so lucky to have you support them every day. We have had incredible moments of laughter, joy and tears. The ride in 2017, with you three, has been the best in my career. You have been open to my non stop 'soap box' on what we OWE our teams as leaders, and have taken a hold of that, surpassed me, and made it your own. I am so proud of you for how you treat our employees and our clients. I literally am tearing up writing this, I am so damn proud of you three. For you I wish happiness in the amazing personal moments you will have with family in 2017 :) ( Mom's and Gramma's ) and continuous development and success with your teams in 2018. There is no ceiling on your opportunities with your career development . Willingness vs Knowledge.. right ??? No coaching over the holidays , no escalations, no sales targets or launches, just love , laughter and wine. ( Except for you Mom to be..) Thank you ladies , I have been truly blessed to work with you every day.
To the rest of my Fusion Homies - ( Senior Management team peers, The big guy - LP, Marketing, Finance, HR, Drafting,Retailing, P+E, and of course the stars in Construction) What you are building is truly inspiring. I know you will all do amazing things with your careers. Thank you for giving it your all every day for each other and our customers. The veterans stepped up in 2017 and the rookies have proven to be elite as well. What an amazing group of professionals you are. I am proud to call you friends and coworkers for now and wherever our futures may lead. For you I wish growth, development, recognition and great milestones in your personal and professional lives. You absolutely Rock.
And for me.....who knows lol. I know 2018 will certainly involve more change and learning and that has always been what I thrive on. I get to meet more amazing people like all of you that way. I do know one thing...stop and smell the roses a little more often on this wonderful ride we call life. There are amazing people all around you and you can never tell them enough.
Thank you everybody, and in 2018 my wish for you all is....Happiness. If everything you do isn't getting you there, I wish you the courage to make it happen.
