My wine epiphany - The Day I Paired an Aurora Borealis with a Chateau Haut-Brion, published by Jancis Robinson
Jancis Robinson is probably one of the most respected wine experts in the world. I am sure you have read some of her articles in the Financial Times. She recently launched a competition to find the best account of the seminal wine, or wine experience, that lit the wine flame within her readers.
This summer, while in Canada, I was lucky to spend an afternoon sipping Champagne with Véronique Rivest, the first woman to make it onto the podium of the Best Sommelier of the World contest. And she is Canadian too! I told her about my wine epiphany and she encouraged me to submit my story. I wrote it up when I got back to Paris and I submitted it.
I am very proud to announce that my story was published on 9 September. Here it is if you would like to read it:
Cheers!
