My wife yelled "HELLZ NO"...

This is the story of my friend Vitaly.

It's pretty close to my story, too.

I could have re-written it with my details...

But Vitaly tells it so well, so I thought, "What the heck!"

Here's his story.

The other day, I had a conversation with a very old friend of mine, who was once a part of my team back when I was in the trenches, recruiting and building my business.

I met this power couple 17 years ago. Recruited and trained them. And a few years later when I left the business to pursue much green pastures, they left with me.

But then we ended up taking different paths and many years went by since.

Couple of days ago, I find out they decided to come back to that business and do it once again.

I guess even all these years later, they couldn’t resist the persuasion power of my old upline (he truly does possess that skill.)

Now, to each its own.

Here’s what I told my friend…

“If you wanna go and hustle again (and believe you me, it’s a friggin’ HUSTLE) … more power to you.”

But when he suggested I should come back and do it with them ( because it’s better than ever)… I had to hold back from laughing.

Me?... Make phone calls, go on appointments and do meetings?

Are you fuc#.ng kidding me?

But it was all good, we had a really nice talk and I politely told him I’m doing very well without having to do any of it EVER AGAIN.

And when I told my wife about this conversation, she whipped her head and firmly said...

"HELL NO!... You are NOT going back to that!"

Now keep in mind, for 11 years my wife was fully onboard with me. A SUPER supportive spouse.

8 out of those 11 years we did it full-time.

As in...

Our livelihood and the ability to keep a roof over our head, put food on the table and keep the lights on totally depended on the income from that business.

And even though there were MANY struggles along the way, we also had some success.

Won many trips and awards.

And I’ve made as much as 18k in a single month.

But…

It came at a steep price.

The daily grind of making ungodly amount of phone calls.

Evening appointments all over town. Which meant I was gone 4-5 nights a week with a little child at home. And for the first 3 years of my daughter’s life, I wasn’t there most nights to tuck her in.

Out every single Saturday because I had training to conduct, and didn’t usually get home ‘till after 3pm.

So yeah… my wife wasn’t too thrilled with these memories. No amount of luxury trips, plaques and awards (got a full basement of them) can replace the time with your kids.

However…

For me ALL of that changed when I discovered how to use the internet to attract people to me.

And never waste another moment of my life chasing the wrong folks.

And today…

Using social media to connect with anyone without leaving your home, it’s easier to build your business than ever before.

The only thing is…

You’ve gotta SNAP OUT of the old mentality of prospecting everyone in sight and smothering them with your business.

Because that’s pretty much what most network marketers do.

And instead…

Learn how to create a recruiting explosion by being selective… AND... by leveraging Facebook and LinkedIn.
