My “Why”... What motivates me?
BH Xpress started in 2014, however my story goes much further than that. My parents decided to leave the comforts of their home country in 1998 in search of a better life for their children, my sister and myself. This is a sacrifice that only those who made it can comprehend. It's a terrifying move to leave your family, nation, and all you know and go to a new country where you don't know the language, laws, people, or anything else. When we relocated to the United States, I was 11 years old. My parents faced the same difficulties that any immigrant family experiences. Working multiple jobs, humiliating yourself because you don't know the customs of that place, and everything in between. But we made it. Thank God. Over the next 16 years, we bought multiple cars, upgraded our house several times, graduated universities, and so on. We lived "comfortably". We had periods when money was tight, just like any other family, but we lived a normal life.
I've always had a strong desire to "achieve financial success in life" so that I could support my parents. I wanted to relieve them of any financial responsibilities or worries. I wanted to help them?retire?while they are in good health so that they could travel and see the world. When I was younger, they made all of their decisions with my sister and me in mind. They gave up so much so that we could have a better life. My goal was to "repay the favor." I wanted them to be able to travel wherever they wanted, stay as long as they wanted, drive whatever car they wanted, and not have to work.
My father was willing to make one more sacrifice eight years ago to provide me with the opportunity to enjoy a better life. He had the idea of purchasing a Mercedes Sprinter Van and creating a business. He'd been a truck driver for almost 15 years. Before rolling out this idea, he was?working a local job that allowed?him to be home every night. He was well aware of the challenges that starting a new business brings.??He realized he'd have to give up the nice life he'd built for himself. He went from sleeping in his own bed every night to constructing a makeshift bed in a Sprinter Van, where the two of us would drive and "live." He moved from being home every night to being gone for two or three weeks at a time.
I had no prior experience in the industry, nor had I ever ran a business. I had simply a naive "jump in head first and then learn how to swim" approach. My father had "street smarts" from his 15 years in the industry, and I had "naive optimism."
God intended for us to succeed, and we did.
My parents now have financial freedom and the ability to go whenever and wherever they want, purchase whatever they want, and so on, thanks to this business. One major item crossed off my bucket list. I am eager to work all hours of the day and night to safeguard this blessing. I'm also at the stage where doubling, tripling, or tenfolding the company's income won't make much of a difference in the quality of life for myself and my family.
Another item on my bucket list was to find a way to start a business and provide good job opportunities in my home country of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Again, God willed it to happen and made a means for it to happen. He opened the doors that needed to be opened in order for this dream to become a reality. Royal Blue Services was established in 2019.

Growing our company so that we can bring more people along for the journey is my biggest?motivation?right now. I want to develop as a person and as a leader so that I can motivate others. "You can't pour from an empty cup," says the adage... I can't get the best out of my team unless I grow and lead by example. I want people to leave the team as better versions of themselves than when they first arrived. I want to pay our employees far more than everybody else. I want to provide benefits that are unequaled elsewhere. I'd like to provide more vacation time than everyone else. I want to do this because it's an awesome?thing to do from a human standpoint, not for any business gain. Why should I have millions in my bank account while my team is struggling to make ends meet? I want everyone to be able to drive their dream car, support their loved ones, travel and see the world, and be motivated and inspired to develop personally and professionally.
All of this, of course, can only happen if individuals are ready to work their ass?off every day to help the company thrive. Money doesn't grow on?trees. I have to be at the top of my game, and everyone else needs to be at the top of their game if we want to accomplish what I mentioned above. My invision?a team in which everyone, from the CEO to the intern, believes in the company's culture and treats the company as if it?were their own. This concept is wonderful in principle, but if it isn't carried out properly, it can?backfire. I've been disappointed in the past when people didn't buy into the culture and instead?viewed it like "just another job," rather than the vision that I have. In the end, it is up to the individual to treat their job as they see fit. Everyone has their own goals, desires, and aspirations in life. It is unreasonable to ask someone to invest more than they are willing to. "Do I accept this person's level of dedication, attitude, and approach, or do I replace them with someone who will be a better match for our company?" is the decision a leader must make at that time.
As a trucking company, I want BHX to provide our drivers with better working conditions than anybody else. I want the drivers to feel valued and respected at all times. I'd want to provide perks, incentives, and social event events, among other things. BHX must be strong as a company in order to do this. Money, once again, does not grow on trees. We must constantly improve our processes and look for new ways to do things faster, better, and less costly. We must hire, train, and motivate our staff to be better than the best in the industry.?Every member of our team, including myself, must be willing to come in every day and approach each day with a "carpe diem" mindset... seize the day, now or never, due?or die. When interacting with clients, we must treat them as if their business was our own. We ought to be patient, flexible,?and provide excellent customer service.
As a people company, I want RBS to be the greatest company to work at in the world. I hope I never act?as the "boss" in this photo, and I am more than eager to be the first one to put in the effort to achieve this wonderful thing that will be great for everybody involved.

Business Banking Center Manager
3 年True leaders dont just think for themselves they keep everyone in mind. Your ability to define success in a way where you care for others and their style of life is most inspiring. Aldin, I have yet to speak to you in person or take time to communicate on 1 on 1 basis. However, I have followed your business over the years and it has told me everything I need to know about you. You have a bright future and your heart is in the right place. You haven't let your success get the best of you. People fail when they allow their success to change the overall mission or objective they once stood for. I wish you continued success and hope you achieve all your goals as you grow your business. Thank you for allowing me to read your story! Best regards,
