My Why?
Edwin Peacock III
Helping families & companies with Insurance & Business Planning since 1975
Hi friends! it's Edwin Peacock. I'm a 2nd generation owner & leader at Pomfret Financial.
When I was growing up Charlotte, my father gave me some excellent career advice: ? choose a profession where there's no limit how many people you can help. ?AND, as result, there should be NO LIMITS as to what you'll be compensated to helping others. ?
It was a little scary hearing that advice at the age of 15. ?
Little did I know, but my father was pointing me towards an entrepreneurial journey of serving & helping others.
?My first job was in door-to-door sales, then to mortgage banking in the metro Wash DC area, to now my focus for the past 23 years in the insurance & financial services space of helping professionals, executives, and business owners.
Like many in my industry, there is no salary or guarantees when you begin. ?
You get to choose WHO you want to help and WHAT problems you want to help them address.
Throughout my career, it has been my clients who have guided me & allowed me to assist them achieve their financial goals for their family OR their business.....and in some cases both!

My background is a little unusual because amidst this career in insurance & planning, ?it also afforded me the flexibility and privilege of serving my community as a Rotarian, a leader in my church, as an elected official on our City Council and on many non-profit boards.
Each of these chapters in my life have a central theme: ?serving & helping others.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a force for good in my clients’ lives.
Seeing them learn, grow, and achieve their biggest dreams is so moving to me.
I’m honored to have been a part of the lives of so many families & companies.
