My Wharton course | Leading an AI-Powered Future
Reid Hoffman
Co-Founder, LinkedIn & Inflection AI. Author of Superagency. Investor at Greylock.
When Ethan Mollick joined me on the Possible podcast a few months back, he delivered a masterclass on the art and science of prompting large language models. Ethan described how he has integrated AI into his classroom, transforming traditional assignments into what he calls “impossible tasks”—challenges that demand leveraging AI to achieve results students couldn’t previously imagine. He shared concepts like “tireless variation,” where AI generates countless creative possibilities, and “step-by-step prompting,” which structures interactions with AI into sequential tasks to improve both the AI's responses and the user’s problem-solving process.
Fast forward to today: Ethan and I are teaching back-to-back sessions in Leading an AI-Powered Future , a new executive ed program from Wharton Executive Education .
This six-week live-online course kicks off on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 10-11:30 AM EST, followed by Tuesday sessions (at the same time) over the following five weeks. It’s a companion course that complements the ideas in my new book, Superagency , which comes out January 28, 2025.
Ethan’s session, The Promise and Pitfalls of AI in Business, comes right after mine, on Tuesday January 28 (the first of the consecutive Tuesday sessions). He’ll dive deep into generative AI and the art of prompting.
The course then continues with four additional sessions led by brilliant 美国宾夕法尼亚大学 - 沃顿商学院 faculty, including Stefano Puntoni , the academic director for Leading an AI-Powered Future. You can see the full line-up here:?
For busy executives considering the opportunity, I can tell you that each session is designed to deliver clear insights and takeaways you can apply immediately. When you enroll as a participant, you can also invite your team to observe the course and discuss it in the context of your workplace via a private Slack channel.
You can learn more and reserve your spot now. I don’t plan to teach a program like this again soon, so I hope to see you there.
