So quite a few people have got in touch with me over the last few weeks to ask about my set-up - what camera I use, how I edit my videos etc. Here is a list below: ↓
Camera: Canon 70d (You can buy them second-hand for around ￡500 on https://www.mpb.com) ??
Lens: Wide-angle Lens EFS 10-18mm (You can buy them second-hand for around ￡200 on https://www.mpb.com)
Microphone/sound: Rode Mic Go (shotgun mic) - I recommend investing in a good microphone because having crisp, clear sound is really important. (they cost around ￡40)
Lighting: 1x Halo light (circle light); 2x small white lights; 1x small warm lamp (bedside table lamp); I use natural light to my advantage when I can - for me, light is the most important thing. If you want good video quality then you need to experiment with the light until you get it right. If you are going to use your Iphone etc. to film then it is even more important you get the lighting right??
Editing software: PremierPro
Graphics: Photoshop & Snappa.com (www.snappa.com costs around ￡12 per month and it is amazing! It is easy to create some really cool graphics. They have a free version but you can only save limited images)
Tri-pod stand: Generic one from Amazon (Costs around ￡15-20)
Studio/office: I literally bought a cheap bookcase and desk, and then designed my own studio. I used old books to fill the bookcase. The key thing is just to make it look tidy and not too cluttered. (you can create a studio like this from scratch for around ￡80) ??
