My visit to Allied Equipment
Last week, on a business trip to West Texas, I had the pleasure of meeting Ron Worley, the founder and owner of Allied Equipment in Odessa, Texas, and his leadership team, including senior VP, Jerry Holloway, and Director of Engineering, Dorin Scheianu.
Allied Equipment is a state-of-the-art fabrication facility located on 15 acres on the north side of Odessa.
Trusted as a leader in the design and manufacture of modular gas treating, processing, and conditioning facilities since 1987, Allied Equipment is an impressive facility to tour.
In production last week were two Amine Plants – 600 gpm and 150 gpm each – as well as a 40’ slug catcher with a 108” diameter.
In addition to Amine plants and liquid-liquid Amine systems, Allied Equipment designs, engineers, and manufactures LNG plants, including pretreatment facilities, fractionation equipment, and equipment for dew point control, condensate stabilization, gas dehydration, and every other ASME code vessel that a natural gas processor would require.
Allied Equipment has new equipment in stock, such as a 1,000 gpm Amine plant.
With an impressive list of clients, including Targa Resources, Energy Transfer, Pioneer Resources, and Oneok, among others, Allied Equipment is continuing to make an impressive mark on the industry.
For anyone in the natural gas business planning to be in Odessa, I recommend that you take the time to meet the Allied Equipment team and discuss how they can support any natural gas treating and processing needs you may have.
