My Vision Board
I never had a vision board until this year.
This was probably the first manifestation technique I learned of, long before I started taking it seriously or even knew a fraction of what I now know.
And while this challenge is the primary target of my manifestation work, it is only one of MANY things I am actively manifesting in my life.
In addition to the Manifest a Million Challenge, I am manifesting many goals over the next one to five years. I have them split into personal and business on my timeline. I even have the end of my timeline set because I plan to live to 100 : )
These are the big, long-term goals I am manifesting. But I am also manifesting small things on a daily basis or even in the moment. I often manifest things about a week out and I find that to be the sweet spot where almost anything is possible.
The exercises I practice for each are dramatically different.
The Manifest a Million Challenge obviously gets the most love with daily visualization practice, autosuggestion recordings I listen to multiple times a day, and this newsletter I write almost daily.
All the little stuff I manifest in a week or less comes from multiple exercises in my journal routine. I also have a lot of mental techniques I can use to supplement the writing.
But the other big stuff - the long-term goals that are too far out but not a priority like the daily/weekly goals are harder to manifest if I don't give them the focus and energy they need to blossom.
That's where my vision board comes in.
I have a block on my calendar for every Monday afternoon. I take about 15-20 minutes to review and update my vision board. It's a nice reminder of the long-term goals I'm working towards and I know this practice subconsciously influences the little goals.
I spend this time searching for images to add to a specific goal on the timeline. As I get closer, I may have assets or insights that allow me to update or add more to those images. Some things I have to google and others I edit in Canva. Occasionally, I have something similar from the past I can reference and almost always prefer to use these images where available.
For example, I want to be a Dungeon Master for DnD in a Castle - an event where you play 24 hours of DnD in a castle over the course of 3 days. Only influencers are invited to DM these sessions. They promote their DMs on Instagram so I screenshot the image, cropped out the person, and added myself : )
Since I started a game publishing company, I consider this one a business goal but I'm also manifesting personal goals.
One of my best friends growing up had an old, blue 69 Mustang in his driveway that he was planning to fix up. He painted cars for a living and I always loved that car. He passed away before he ever got the chance so I'm gonna buy one to remember him by.
This was easy enough, I was able to find an image on a classic car auction site:
I even made this image my desktop background on my computer : )
I've slowly been building this out over the past few months and it's a really beautiful experience that I enjoy deeply.
I don't know of anyone else who has their vision board laid out in a timeline like I do, but I really enjoy doing it this way. It's easy enough for me to move things up or back on the timeline as needed but it hasn't changed much:
I just keep working my way from left to right as inspiration strikes.
And I'm proud to say I manifested the very first thing on my timeline just last week! I hosted an in-person session of DnD at MOps-Apalooza. Today I got to swap out the Google images with pictures that were taken on-site.
This short sentence sums it up nicely.
This is my life - I'm glad I finally started taking it seriously!
