My View of Money, Your View of Money

My View of Money, Your View of Money

Greetings, Carl here.

No two people will ever have the same views about money.

I don’t care if you’re married, best friends, or identical twins.

My view of money doesn’t match yours, and your view doesn’t match mine.

Period.

Keep that in mind the next time you are about to launch into an argument over the AmEx bill with your spouse. Or the next time you start to judge someone for the car they drive. Or the next time… well, really, just the next time you think anything about anyone’s relationship with money at all.

Other people’s behavior might seem ludicrous to you. Even morally reprehensible.

But that’s at least in part because they’re not you. They don’t think about money the same way you do.

In fact, nobody does.

Because when it comes to how we think about money, all of us are an N-of-1.?
