To My T-Mobile Family:

I’ve been happily putting on Magenta everyday for almost 10 years now. This morning as I sit down to write this my heart is heavy yet hopeful. Heavy, because I love the people here so much. I believe in the Un-carrier. I’ve been here through hard times and watched us all recover together. I’ve had more inspirational leaders than the average person will ever know in a lifetime, and I’ve worked alongside absolute world-changers. Hopeful, because as this chapter nears it’s end there is a new chapter waiting, full of possibility. As some of you may have heard I’ve accepted a new role in the Bay area and will be leaving T-Mobile after nearly a decade and moving to San Francisco. It’s weird to write “leaving” T-Mobile because I feel like I’m taking so much of it with me. On our team we end everything with gratitude, and I feel like this experience is no different. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. Those who have shaped me along the way. Those who have encouraged me when times were hard. Those who have challenged me to be better. I absolutely realize how incredibly lucky I am to know what it feels like to have a crew of women rally around each other and invest in one another’s success. I know what it means to have strong allies, mentors, and sponsors. I have benefited from the tremendous impact of people-first leadership. I know the power of friendship and laughter and I know it because I’ve been enveloped in it for so long, and I am grateful.

I hope this is not goodbye. How do you say goodbye to something that’s so deeply a part of who you are? I mean it when I say I’ll take pieces of this place and you all with me. Thank you all so much for some of the most amazing years of my career. I am so beyond excited to see the amazing things you all will continue to do and I can’t wait to celebrate with you.

It’s not a coincidence that my last day is the day before Thanksgiving. It’s the perfect way to close this chapter. In all things, gratitude.
