My Ultimate Productivity Hack!

I set myself up for work today and I’ve had a great day!
How?
Indulging in a bit of silly commuter racing that's how!
I was taking it easy on my way to the station this morning before I saw…. him, that's right, there he was ahead of me, that man I've seen before, effortlessly gliding along on his bike whilst I huff and puff as if I was dying on my cross-trail bike.
Today was going to be my day, I thought I need to catch this guy. In my mind, I was having slow motion visions of passing him by, looking at him with a big cheesy grin like a Cheshire cat, waving and shouting “look, no hands”.
So, it began…. I was in full on race-mode, pedaling furiously. “Faster, faster” I kept telling myself, as I pulled him in closer and closer. And boy oh boy, I didn't just catch him from a good 200 or so yards back, I absolutely flew past him.
Did I grin? You bet I did, I was so elated, I almost let out a squeal of excitement and then, I couldn’t help myself, I cheekily nodded and said “Dobre Rano” (Good morning), and on I went flying off into the distance….
It didn’t matter that the guy was about 80 years old, crumpled over the handlebars of his knackered old bike that was probably almost the same age as him. It didn’t matter because he was my target and I beat him, I won!
The day progressed to be a great day full of entertaining interviews and calls with candidates and hiring managers. Even my disgusting healthy lunch (yeah I’m pretending to be on a diet again!) didn’t ruin it (because I threw it in the bin and went out with my boss for lunch instead).
I’ve been in a good mood all day which has in turn made be very productive today!
A little bit of madness, imagination and fake racing, come on, anyone who cycles has done it for sure!
Anyone else out there got any unusual productivity hacks?
Anyone wishing they'd never taken the time to read this article? I'm not apologising, the train commute causes me to write this rubbish! :)
N.B. If anyone starts talking about 5am workouts and protein shakes they get a virtual slap!
