Why My Acceptance Rate Is So LOW Driving Uber

Joe just released a video sharing why his Uber acceptance rate is lower now compared to BEFORE Upfront Fares debuted in his area.

Back in 2022, before the introduction of Upfront Fares, his acceptance rate was 80%, and he primarily declined rides due to long pickup distances.

Once Uber launched Upfront Fares, he initially saw a 5% earnings increase but started to make predictions about the long-term effects, such as Uber potentially manipulating fares and eliminating surge pricing.

Fast forward to 2024, and Joe's acceptance rate has dropped to 28%, and some of his predictions have come true.

In the video, Joe shares his current strategy of only accepting requests with short pickups or trips that meet his minimum earnings criteria.
