My two cents on the uses of ChatGPT in travel content production

We are experiencing a great evolutionary leap in technology, and none of us are ready for it.
ChatGPT, now in its GPT-4 version, is a chatbot that can answer various questions in a matter of seconds. It was even used to write this article, but rest assured -I edited it with my human skills.
The use of ChatGPT in travel content creation is controversial. In an already oversaturated market, where nobody can take any more "10 best things" or "what to do in that place," would using this tool make everything worse? I don't have the answer. But ChatGPT exists, it is already being used by several companies. So let's see how we can use it for good.
The great evolutionary leap we're talking about here is the power of creating more "human" answers than other versions with the same speed. This is being applied in medicine, education, politics, digital security, and even creativity-related areas like Midjourney, creating works of art while I write this article.
The whole system was developed by OpenAI, and it is possible to chat in more than 100 languages. For now, we use the free version, but not for free: all interactions are used to train and develop the algorithm.
Despite being open for less than four months to the general public, governments have already made decisions regarding ChatGPT. The use of OpenAI technology is banned in NYC public schools since the beginning of this year.
I started testing the chat in January 2023, and I already have articles ranked on Google using the tool. But, of course, appearing in Google searches doesn't mean the debates are over. Plagiarism is one of them, since the chat responds to questions without quoting the source. We might write something that was created by someone else, and that's why the mandatory words here are prudence and ethics.

How to use AI to help you produce travel content
ChatGPT can and should do much more for you than just write content. Actually, asking for content and publishing it as it comes is one of the worst things you can do.

What are the new updates of ChatGPT and its news?
OpenAI launched in March 2023 Chat GPT-4, an upgrade that promises to deliver much more than the version we are used to. For now, GPT-4 is exclusive to platform subscribers, at around $20 per month. But the company claims the following improvements:
How does Google view the use of AI and what are the penalties?
Google does not necessarily consider the use of AI bad, but it always prioritizes people. So the problem is when the content is written only for search engines and not for readers. If it is useful and created for people, there is no problem.
Sites like AI Content Detector help identify the percentage of text made by AI or by humans. With this tool, it is possible to understand if your text "passes" as a human text, or if you still need to edit it.
The conclusion here is that it is ideal to benefit from the help of AI, but the final result should always be edited, checked, rewritten, and blended with original content.
