My tryst with covid death bed!

As soon as I was diagnosed with covid-19 , I went into home quarantine with all necessary covid medications. 

Within 2 days ,out of no where I could not breath normally and my Spo2 levels dropped to 78. Luckily we had an oxygen cylinder as home.and I was immediately put to this device for breathing. CT SCAN REPORT SHOWED 70% OF MY LUNGS DAMAGED 

. MY MISTAKE ! DELAYED COVID TESTING by 2 days. And what this delay did was unthinkable...damaged 70% of my lungs

. I could see least 1 life lost daily,(in the covid ward with 30 beds). One of them was in his mid 20 with body builderish physique. Saw him struggling breathing with support ,and finally gave up in 3 days.

.Inbetween news came of a young SAAS founder ,who I knew ,32, dynamic,successful ,part of the same cohort , died of covid! Shocked and perplexed and added to my agony

Guys, its been 7 days now , I'm discharged from aiims ,feeling 80% normal and back to work.And feel like sharing my thoughts :

. PLEASE GET YOURSLEF TESTED as soon as you feel the mildest of symptoms.please don't delay for what ever reason even by half a day. You can imagine it damaged 70% of lungs for a 2 days delay

. Please stay safe! You are super rich ,young ,healthy ,all is irrelevant. I am a witness to this irrelevance spending 10 days covid centre at aiims !

.What govt is going is unreal and difficult to believe. Like me, hundreds are treated and cured at aiims FREE OF COST. Best of doctors and nursing staff ,state of art facility , I felt like i was in best of private hospitals.

I'm repeating,what you hear every day ::

This is no ordinary virus.. so please Stay home ! Maintain social distancing ! Maintain hand hygiene ! And avoid venturing out without reason.
