My transformative 4 Year journey

"I am delighted to share the remarkable four-year Continue chapter of my career at PTCL. It all began on the 19th of December 2019 when I joined as an Assistant Business Manager. Under the guidance of esteemed leaders such as Zafar Shafiq sb and Jawed Khattak sb, my professional voyage kicked off with a month-long training at the headquarters and regional office. This comprehensive initiation provided insights into PTCL's structure, work procedures, and delineated my role in the organization.

My initial posting at Hassanabdal and Taxila allowed me to work alongside the exceptional Mr. Aqib and other great supervisors. The experiences garnered during this period were invaluable, contributing significantly to my professional growth. I dedicated myself to meeting the high expectations set forth from the day I joined, striving to make my exchange the epitome of efficiency and excellence. Before moving to my hometown, Quetta, I had the opportunity to contribute to GPON planning, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach.

Upon assuming the role of Assistant Business Manager at Jinnah Town, Quetta, I immersed myself in the challenges and opportunities that came my way. Working tirelessly day and night, I successfully maintained the high standards and learned practices from my time in the RTR region under the esteemed Zafar Shafiq sb. Meeting and often exceeding Key Performance Indicators, I consistently delivered outstanding results, including achieving the best Sales, MTTR, Denial, and contributing to substantial Net revenue and gross sales. This two-year tenure was marked by a series of positive transformations.

I am immensely proud of the positive changes and achievements I brought to PTCL during these two years – from elevating sales performance to maintaining the best MTTR and other KPis. This journey has been a testament to my commitment and dedication to the goals I set with PTCL upon joining the organization.

"Embarking on the second phase of my journey at PTCL marked a pivotal shift as I transitioned into the realm of GPON planning and project management. This phase presented a unique set of challenges and opportunities, allowing me to delve deeper into the intricacies of advanced networking technologies.

Entering the second phase of my PTCL career marked a significant milestone, where I was entrusted with the role of GPON Manager. It was a moment of immense trust and responsibility, as my VPs and Directors believed in my ability to lead the transformation of QTR into a GPON-enabled network.

Starting as a GPON Planner, I took bold initiatives and tackled every challenge head-on to propel QTR into the realm of GPON technology. With the support of esteemed leaders such as Ex VP Zahir Achakzai sb, Ex VP Asif Inam sb, VP Ajmal sb and Director Nazir Marri sb, I initiated the establishment of an in-house GPON team. Building a dedicated team, including Ex-SM Akbar Gicki sb , Ex- SM Ghulam Raza sb, AM Imtiaz, Supervisor Riaz, and Supervisor Aslam, we began in-house GPON planning, conducted training for TPIs, and provided crucial support to the technical team and stakeholders across QTR.

Through collaborative efforts, dedication, and strategic planning, we successfully expanded the reach of GPON technology to various corners of Balochistan. By December 31, 2023, we QTR anticipate surpassing 9K active base with 25K+ active base ports. Within a single year, our in-house planning team design ODNs exceeded 30K, with almost 14K deployments completed and the remainder in progress.

This journey would not have been possible without the remarkable contributions of the My GPON team, Field staffs and Supervisors, Executives, Business Managers, Senior Managers, and the invaluable support of Director Nazir Marri sb along other tech team supports. Our director trust and autonomy granted to me were instrumental in achieving our goals. I am especially grateful for the freedom to innovate and extend the GPON network wherever feasible, fulfilling the commitment we made.

As I reflect on these four years, I take pride in the coordinated efforts that went beyond GPON planning. In my role, I actively contributed to OPEX and CAPX management, store and transportation logistics, and daily OSP strategies for the transformation of MSAG technology into GPON. Additionally, we seized new business opportunities, including the successful design of Nawa Killi, Jinnah town and delivery of pre-deposit project Sariab Road, and embarked on various other initiatives.

I am content with the impactful and fulfilling journey I have had at PTCL, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the company's growth and technological advancement in the years to come. I am grateful for the opportunities, challenges, and growth that PTCL has provided. Looking ahead, I am excited about the continued journey and the prospect of making even greater contributions to the success and growth of PTCL
